Yinji: Young designers are the mainstay of design in the circle. How did you start your design path? What do you want for your future?
Pan: After finishing university in Nanjing, I started to work in a design institute, and participated in some office and hotel design. After eight years of practical work in public decoration, I set up Cloud Travel Space Architectural Design in 2017 and started my career as an independent entrepreneur. At present, the studio mainly focuses on residential design, and some commercial space design will be carried out in the future. I hope to create a design studio with independent design and full of vitality, so as to realize personal "design freedom", complete the project, maintain the execution degree of implementation, self-learning and team building.
Yinji: Although Nanjing is the ancient capital of six dynasties, its design is very young and has gathered a group of energetic young designers. What do you think about the future of design in Nanjing?
Pan: The local market and design environment in Nanjing have been very good in recent years, and many excellent designers have emerged. We ourselves should continue to make some better work cases, through the exchange and learning of local peers to improve together, young, young, energetic, is the new blood in the environment, has a good driving role for young designers; Second, there is still better room for improvement. In the future, we can continue to climb on the road of design and face the national market.Yinji: Notice that you've competed in a few design competitions and been recognized for what you've learned and thought about?
Pan: Design competition is like a mirror, which can help you know yourself better. Through design competition, you can position yourself and figure out the direction for the next step. Of course, you can get to know many peers.

Pan: There is always a special owner behind a special case. The space that conforms to the owner's own characteristics is our focus in this case. We capture the interrelationship between space occurrence and site factors, materialize such relationship with light, shadow, structure and material, and then feed back to the temperament of the space and the matching degree of the owner.
Yinji: What was your biggest feeling about the design of the private living space?
Pan: Living space conforms to the spatial emotional expression of users. Can this space directly convey the thinking and intention of designers to users and experiencers, and the state of residents and the atmosphere of the space match each other?
